Facilities at Abbeydale Sports and Community Centre

We have a choice of facilities suitable for a wide range of leisure and community activities.

We offer a flexible pricing scheme for all our customers. Online booking requests will receive a quotation via email or you can call us to discuss your needs. Registered users have access to all their booking information and can easily make repeat bookings and manage their account.

Capacity: 120 people
Pricing: £33.00-£36.00 per hour

An ideal room for celebrations, sports, dancing, conferences and large meetings.
Seats up to 120 people.
Sprung wooden floor.
Full size badminton court.
Secure outside play area.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday after 6pm – £36 per hour. Reduced rates for regular hirers.

A perfect room for smaller celebrations, fitness classes and meetings.
Situated next door to the Phoenix Café Bar.
Seats up to 40 people (but can also be joined with the Tickner Studio to hold up to 75 people - please see separate booking option).
Not suitable for a bouncy castle inside - combine with the Tickner Studio for that or use the Main Hall.
Free WiFi.

Room rates £22 per hour.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday after 6pm – £25 per hour. Reduced rates for regular hirers.

External Electrics can also be booked with the Lindsey Room at a fixed rate of £5 per booking.

Phoenix Cafe Bar Catering

Phoenix Cafe Bar are proud to offer a range of easily bookable food and drink services for hirers of our rooms. Prices include VAT.

Simply add this space to your booking as a 15 minute slot at the time you want the service and the items and quantities you require on the Event Catering Items equipment and services item.

For food orders we need a minimum of 7 days notice. Minor amendment to hot drinks quantities can obviously be accommodated on the day if more or less people attend.

Our normal service hours for these items are 9:30am to 5pm daily although we may be able to cope with hours outside these. Please ask.

For our Regular Hirers we will issue a separate invoice at the end of the month. For Casual hirers a separate invoice will be issued for food and drinks and must be paid in full at least 7 days before the event.

Available for catering for celebrations and events held at the Centre. A well-equipped kitchen including:

Extraction unit
Ample storage

Kitchen rate – £8 per hour (can only be booked with another room for the full duration of hire).

A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is required for use.

Artificial Training Pitch

Capacity: 30 people
Pricing: £43.00-£54.00 per hour

Third generation half-size artificial training pitch. New carpet in 2020. Strictly only MOULDED-STUD football boots are allowed.

We can divide the pitch in two.

Floodlights.

Divider curtain.

Block bookings for regular slots of 5 or more sessions are available.

Separate changing rooms for Home and Away teams and Officials, including disability facilities, can be hired separately to the pitch.
