Beating Diabetes - With Health Life Fitness
‘Beating Diabetes’ is a health and fitness exercise class for people with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes to help them manage their diabetes. Each weekly class is run by a diabetes qualified fitness instructor and allows you to meet new friends and connect with others who have similar experiences around diabetes. Thursdays 19:30 - 20:30, £5 per class (first class is free). Book Swap – Take a Book, Leave a Book. We now have a book swap shelf in the foyer of Abbeydale Sports and Community Centre. Offering a range from science fiction and general fiction to romance and educational reads, there is a book to cater to every taste.
We have an online booking system https://www.abbeydale.org.uk/make-a-booking/ for our rooms and spaces that will show you availability for specific dates and you can book online too.
